Singing Time is a great opportunity to review the song Follow The Prophet. You could have the children listen for ways that following the prophet leads you to Christ.
September 9th-15th God Can Speak to Me in My Heart
This week we get to read about Samuel the Lamanite preaching to the Nephites. Some of the people heard his words and felt the spirit. It’s important that the children learn how the spirit might speak to the them. Teach them the song “The Still Small Voice” and ask them to listen for ways the spirit might speak to them.
September 16th-22nd The Prophets Words Are Always Fulfilled
This week we get to read about the fulfillment of Samuel the Lamanite’s prophecies to the Nephites. A perfect time to learn the song “Samuel Tells of Baby Jesus”.
September 23rd-29th Jesus Christ Wants Me To Be Baptized
Review the song “When I Am Baptized”. Ask the children if they have seen a baptism before and discuss why Jesus wants us to be baptized.
